We have over 30 years of combined practical sales, customer service and marketing experience. Our approach to business is to work with every client in a personal, professional way. No matter the size of the project, each client is treated as if they were our only one and receives the quality service every client deserves.

Mark Parton – Founder

Mark has 15 years of sales and marketing experience with 12 of those years spent developing and growing inside sales teams in a number of different industries. From computer equipment and wholesale print consumables to inbound and outbound calling campaigns in the call center industry, Mark has exhibited a clear understanding of what makes a happy customer, while helping companies exceed their sales goals. While in the computer industry, he was responsible for growing a business unit from $32 million to $45 million in a two year period. His latest vision is to introduce this style of direct marketing to the wine industry, allowing wineries to experience the potential of their customer database. “Why shouldn’t the wine industry see the same types of success other industries have had for many years using this type of marketing.”

Mark is originally from Chicago and has a BA in Economics from Southern Illinois University. Over the past 10 years he has traveled through wine country in the United States as well as Europe and South America, visiting wineries in France, Italy, Spain and Chile.

Nancy Parton – VP of Operations

Nancy with her organizational skills and customer service knowledge wears many hats here at Call For Wine. But it’s her friendly demeanor and can-do attitude that makes our clients feel completely at ease. With 15 years of customer service and marketing experience while in the telecommunication industry, she worked for LDDS Metromedia, LCI International and Focal Communications, managing customer service teams focused on Fortune 500 clients. Nancy has a BA in Marketing from Eastern Illinois University.

William Moor – Sales and Call Center Coordinator

William has over 6 years of direct-to-consumer telesales experience and a strong passion for wine.

Mr. Moor has worked in retail sales at an upscale wine shop in Scottsdale, Arizona, his hometown, which spawned his love of wine long ago. While working at various call centers in Arizona he was consistently in the top 10% of sales.

At Call for Wine, Mr. Moor is responsible for the day-day-to-day call center operations, including the administration of the IP Communications Platform, training of new sales reps and direct sales. William moved to Northern California from Arizona in 2003 and received his undergrad from Arizona State University and his Masters in English from Mills College.

Kevin Shallat – Client Services

Kevin Shallat joined Call for Wine to head up the client services department. He graduated St. Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor’s degree in communications in 1999.

Kevin worked as a senior sales representative at Service Source International in San Francisco for five years. He has worked in telesales and retail capacities in the wine industry. Kevin also spends some of his leisure time as a sportswriter and broadcaster for local sports teams. He enjoys traveling, collecting wine, and attending sporting events. He is a proud supporter and season ticket holder to Saint Mary’s Athletics.

Tim Kipper – Business Development

Tim Kipper has a strong background in business development, sales and market research. His passion is working with start-ups to help develop a successful business model and operations.

In the past three years, Tim has co-founded and helped two start-ups receive funding, which allowed the companies to set up a subsidiary in the Netherlands and China. Both companies are operational and currently Mr. Kipper serves on the Board of Directors for Advanced Throughput.

Mr. Kipper has held previous positions at Bates Worldwide, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cordiant Communications Group plc, and Merrill Lynch. At Bates Mr. Kipper was institutional targeting and research analyst where he worked with companies in industries ranging from Location-Based Services, DSL-ISP, Internet Appliances, Specialty-Chemicals, and Banking. At Merrill, Mr. Kipper worked as a 401K Specialist, servicing client accounts for KPMG, Southern, Kroger and Pitney Bowes.
