Call for Wine Opens New Call Center in Oakland, California

OAKLAND, CA - APRIL 2, 2008 – Call for Wine, a provider of Direct to Consumer telesales services exclusively for wineries, celebrated the opening of its new call center facility in Oakland, California.

The new “best in class” facility, which started operating April 1, already has 8 employees and the company reportedly plans to hire an additional 22 over the next three to five years. It is projected that the company will handle over 30,000 calls in the first three months of operation.

“The client’s opinion of Call for Wine is based upon the level of customer service their customers receive from the employees here at the call center,” according to Mark Parton, founder and Managing Director. “We have 8 customers in Napa alone and we look forward to continuing a successful relationship with each of those and future clients in this industry.”

Call for Wine provides Direct to Consumer telesales services exclusively for wineries. Founded four years ago, the company is based in Oakland, CA and maintains its own outbound call center and sales representatives. Call for Wine provides contract customer service follow up and phone sales, helping wineries connect directly with their existing and new retail customers, as well as business customers.
